Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is a government statutory entity responsible for the promotion of the safe, secure and efficient development of Civil Aviation inside and outside Uganda.
Civil Aviation Authority operates 13 domestic Airports, five of which are designated as entry and exit points to boost tourism and regional trade across the borders.
The Government of Uganda (GOU) has allocated funds for Construction of Staff Quarters at Moroto and Gulu Airfields.
- Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and are open to all bidders from eligible source countries.
- A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ug.Shs 100,000/= (One hundred thousand Uganda Shillings only) payable in cash at CAA cash office, located on the 2nd floor, Entebbe International Airport Terminal Building.
The bid document should be collected immediately after payment from the Procurement and Disposal Unit (PDU) located at the CAA Head Office.
- Bids must be delivered to the address stated in 4, below on or before 24th April 2019 at 11:00am (All bids must be accompanied with a bid security of Ug.Shs. 8,000,000/= (Eight million shillings only). Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend on 24th April 2019 at 11:05am in the CAA Boardroom at the CAA Head Office, Entebbe.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site inspection to enable potential bidders get clarifications and answers on any matter that may be raised at that stage on Tuesday 2nd April 2019 at 02:00pm -Gulu Airfield and Wednesday 3rd April 2019 at 11.00am. Bidders who do not attend the meetings shall be disqualified.
