IFATCA CONFERENCE 2027

A team from Uganda Civil Aviation Authority participated in the 65th International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers Associations from April 20-24, 2026 in Bucharest Romania at which the hosting flag for the next Annual Conference was passed on from Romania to Uganda amidst applause from the over 400 participants .

The discussions focused on air traffic management, safety and the future of aviation under the theme       “Air Traffic controllers: attract them, value them and keep them.’’ The Authority’s Manager Public Affairs, Vianney Luggya delivered to the delegates a power point Presentation about the planned arrangements for the 2027 IFATCA Conference in Kampala tentatively scheduled for April 12-16, 2027 highlighting the visa modalities and the country’s tourism opportunities among others.
