UCAA Hosts Customer Care Workshop to Boost Passenger Experience at Entebbe Airport
The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority organised a two-day Customer Care Training Workshop for stakeholders operating at Entebbe International Airport from Thursday, August 14 to Friday, August 15, 2025 at Imperial Golf View Hotel, Entebbe.
The workshop, opened by the General Manager – Entebbe International Airport, Mr. Emmanuel Barungi focused on improving customer experience and satisfaction, which encompasses all the interactions passengers have with the airport community.
Mr. Barungi reminded the participants that airport staff are the face of Uganda. He encouraged the team to fully share their experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another. “The true value of today’s training lies in the ideas we exchange and the commitment we make to apply them,” he said.
The workshop brought together airport stakeholders from Immigration, Customs, Forex Bureau operators, Duty Free Shops, Hotels, Handling Agents, and Restaurant operators, among others.The training was facilitated by Mr. Chris Roddy Muhango.
